Dyaare ishq kaisa aur Ishq ka maqaam  kya Maaddiyat ke daur mein aagahi se kaam kya Shaistagi  aur sharafat qadren hui purane sab Har taraf shor-o ghogha aur tarz-e kalaam kya Husn bepardah hua  aur ashiqui  besabr hui Bazaar-e hawas ne tai kiya insaan ka daam kya Yeh kya ghadi hai doston aur yeh dayar kya Kaun samjhe kaun jaane Khaas kya aam kya Ja chuke hain chhod kar ishq ki mehfil ko woh Kaun tha kahan gaya poochhte ho naaam kya Dayar - territory, region Aagahi - awareness Maqaam - place,occasion Shaistagi - civility Maaddiyat - materialism    

Rang-e bahaar pe kyun khizan ghalib hai Zemeen past hai kyun asmaan ghalib hai Kyun har samt ab usi ka charcha hai Yehan jo zer tha kyun wahan ghalib hai Shahr-e wafa ki  ab pehchaan reh gai hai Makeen ghayab hai aur makaan ghalib hai Daam-e sukhan mei uski sabhi log aa gaye Woh dilfareb hai uski zabaan ghalib hai Saudagari nahi yeh hukoomat dilon pe hai Ek bheed be-mahal hai aur gumaan ghalib hai

A structure was built by a general of medieval period in 16th century, 1528 precisely. The dome and arches of the structure suggested, it was a mosque. A mosque amidst hundreds of temples. Medieval architecture and calligraphy on the walls and overall imprint of Islamic architecture suggested beyond doubt the structure was mischief of a Muslim king. Utmost effort was put by learned scholars to disprove and change fact. All valid and invalid sources were meticulously studied. Facts and f igures were put forward. One group of scholars established that the building was constructed much before the Muslims arrival in the country and later converted into a mosque. The cruel king of medieval period converted this structure into a mosque in order to demoralize the local populace. Other account verified that the general of marauding army demolished temple and constructed the mosque exactly at the same place where Lord Rama took birth. Simri police station, Simri bus stop, Simri field, Simri post office, Simri Middle school, Simri High School, simri weekly haat held on Monday and Friday, Simri annual mela; for locals, Simri infact, is local head quarters. Locals associate their village with Simri for easy identification e.g. SImri-Bastawara, Simri-Bharati etc. Simri market is bustling with activities today thanks to the amity among people.    People say with sense of pride that the market is as developed as one in Darbhanga town. Peace and Communal harmony are definitely enabling factors for the economic development of any place. Today, Simri-Bastawara is in news for wrong reason. Some lunatics have committed wrong during chhatta puja and the divisive forces are up in the arms to tear the fabric of unity of the region. As ugly monster of riot descends at our place aiming to pounce and quench its thirst for  blood , let us raise our hands in prayer that the monster bites the dust and retreat....

Blood stained newspapers with headlines giving statistics of death, blown up human bodies shown on TV screens, suicide by farmers in debts, hunger death, homicide, riots; are the harsh realities of our daily life. Can we escape it, I wonder. I wish, may there be no news of death whenever I pick up my morning newspaper. Alas, my wish never comes true. The human beings if not killed by fellow human faced beings, die due to severity of inclement weather. There was a siege of a café in Australia where two hostages and the lone terrorist were killed. Then there was a dance of macabre by ghastly terror act in army school of Pakistan. Innocent children were butchered by devils. Next day, the Pakistan army killed more than 50 in its restive province in retaliation claiming they all were terrorists. After a long spell of foreign rule, India tasted freedom breaking shackles of slavery and threw away colonial yoke. The newly independent country developed consensus on relatively younger politician, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru to lead the country. There were many contenders for the premiership. Gandhiji was visionary enough to put his stamp on Pt. Nehru. The country needed stewardship of a person who could take every section of society along, who could lay a strong foundation of friendship with other countries.
