Roshni ka nishan mita, har su ab andhera hai 
Insaanon ki basti mein dehshat ka basera hai

Taarik pasra hai aur aaj ka suraj chhupa hua hai
 Chaand taare doob gaye kyun gar hua nahi sawera hai

Kya tum bhool gaye bhai jo rishta hai ham donon ka
Ek hi chaman ke baasi hain kya tera hai kya mera hai

Rahbar hon ya rehzan hon farq nahin ab donon mein
Kabhi yehi muhafiz hai aur yehi kabhi lutera hai

Nafrat jinka maqsad hai aur dehshat jinka shewa hai
Woh jame hain masnad par aur aiwanon mein dera hain
